Red Wing Ignite Cup

2023 E1 Ignite Cup – Sponsored by:
Red Wing Ignite and Southern Minnesota Initiative Foundation
This event is a regional pitch competition and will feature five company finalists that will pitch their businesses in front of a live audience.
- 1st Place $7,500 cash prize
- 2nd Place $5,000 cash prize
- 3rd Place $2,000 cash prize
Each of the top companies will receive other resources and mentorship through this program in addition to the cash prizes.
The top company in Southeast MN (11 county E1 region) will be awarded a semi-finalist seat at the MN Cup competition.
The top student-owned company in southern MN (20 county SMIF region) will be awarded a semi-finalist seat at the MN Cup competition.
One of the five finalists will be awarded the People’s Choice Award which comes with a $500 cash prize.

If you are chosen as a semi-finalist, there is one important date that you must attend.
- March 7 – Semi-Finalist Review Day (30-minutes per company; Virtual)
If you are chosen as a finalist, there are three important dates that you must attend.
- March 15 – Pitch Deck Prep (Location and time TBD)
- March 21 – Polishing your Pitch (Location and time TBD)
- March 30 – Red Wing Ignite Cup Event (Evening; In-Person)
